PUBLIC NOTICE: UPDATED GENERAL ASSISTANCE ORDINANCE

A Public Hearing will be held by the Municipal Officers of the City of Calais on Thursday, September 24, 2026 in the Council Chambers of the Calais City Building, at 6:00 p.m. to consider adopting an updated General Assistance Ordinance. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available in the clerk’s office located in the Calais City Building at 11 Church St. or by clicking here.

All citizens may appear and show just cause, if any, why this ordinance should not be adopted as updated.
